Over the years, IPU has founded several subsidiary companies.

The subsidiary company, Arcanic A/S, was founded in 2001. This was done with the aim of continuing the activities with CampusNet for universities, which IPU had developed under IPU-Venture in 2000 and 2001. The activities were transferred onto Arcanic A/S in 2002, where also 49% of the stock was sold to a group of employees. In 2005, the stockholder group was altered, and today IPU owns 65.8% of the stock.
