IPU designed the ViZoo column, which is made up of two halves. One is bolted to the floor and holds a vertical spring-tensioned roll which holds a rolled-up transparent screen. The other component has wheels and can be pulled out from the permanent component thereby pulling out the screen from the roll and stretching it between the two component halves. The maximum size of the screen is 2.5 x 10 meters. The screen is used for video shows, where the transparency of the screen offers a unique experience to the spectator if the lighting is right.
