The company PnP-Technology wished to develop a printer interface for local networks at, e.g., small offices. 

PnP-Technology and IPU collaborated on developing a design specification, which, among other things, contained references from other products with which PnP-Technology in some areas wanted their product to identify. 

IPU developed a number of sketches in which different ideas were tested, and PnP-Technology subsequently chose a design path, which they found to be suitable. The design of the case components was done by IPU in consultation with the plastic founder.

As opposed to competing products, the finished design contains claddings in pressed stainless steel, which helped differentiate the product on the market.

i-data has taken over the production of Easy-Com, which has now been redesigned in collaboration with IPU.
