IPU has helped develop a new hand control unit for hospital beds in collaboration with Invacare and Klaus B. Dyhr. More and more often, the beds are being used in private homes.

The new hand control unit was developed in close collaboration with the users. The operation of the device is functional in the way that if the user wishes to lie down horizontally after having watched television, he needs only press one large button and not three different small buttons, as it is now.
