»Ernitec wanted to exploit the potential in the combination of modern electronics and optimised presion mechanics in the company's existing programme of motorised lens systems.

We handed the entire execution of the project over to IPU. The task included the overall management of the project, and the development of both electronics and mechanical parts for five different lens systems. IPU delivered us finished and tested prototypes, delivered complete production documentation in accordance with Ernitec's standard precepts, and arranged for, tried and tested subcontrators.

The result is a new series of motorised lens systems, which due to their modular, tested gear system, rapid and precise motor control, and an attractive design have enabled Ernitec to offer their customers more reliable lens systems with improved specifications. In spite of these improvements, we have been able to maintain the price of the basic versions, while we have been able to reduce the price of the most advanced variants considerably.«
