»Nilfisk GD 1000 is a modularly structured vacuum cleaner which primarily appeals to professionals. Through its modularisation, the vacuum cleaner is avaiable in different variants meeting individual customer demands for filter types and sizes.

During the development work we realized that we could not set aside the neccessary resources for the entire development and design work. At a stage when the concepts for the upper part and the dust container had been determined, and at a late point in the detail phase of parts, IPU was asked to join the project to work at the filter unit from concept to final design. IPU was capable of a quick project start-up and provided competent development and design work.

In collaboration with Nilfisk the filter unit concept was established, particulars were laid down, and  detailed design of parts was worked out. IPU's participation in the project ended upon transfer of drawings for toolmaking to Nilfisk and initation of subsupplier cooperation.«
