Role & Responsibilities
Do you have a background in developing robotics algorithms & software for autonomous systems? Are you motivated by working with others to reach challenging milestones and goals?
We are looking for someone who can be a key contributor to the teams in our development projects. We work in a fast-paced environment, where being able to both plan and execute is key to success.
We offer a full-time position aimed at an engineer/developer with relevant working experience. Tasks and responsibilities will be allocated according to your experience level, areas of interest, and client demands, but will include one or several of the following areas:
- Software development, where a strong focus is placed on using modern practices to ensure robust and safe code is deployed.
- Algorithm development, e.g.:
- SLAM
- Path planning and navigation
- Trajectory optimization
- Sensor fusion
- Vision, image and signal processing
- Simulation environments
- Integration and calibration of hardware sensors, e.g.:
- LiDAR
- Camera
- Radar
- IMU
- GPS
Skills & Experience
Education:
- MSc in Robotics, Autonomous Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer or Data Science, Applied Mathematics or a related field.
Work:
- At least one year of work experience within a related field – relevant student jobs undertaken during studies are acceptable.
- Experience in a multinational setting is preferred.
Coding:
- Strong C++ skills.
- Experience with Python, MATLAB or similar scripting language.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git, SVN, etc.
- Experience with UI development (e.g., Qt) is a bonus.
Robotics:
- Experience developing one or more relevant robotics algorithms, e.g., SLAM, path planning and navigation, collision avoidance, point cloud processing, sensor fusion, ..
- Knowledge of ROS (Robot Operating System) or a similar robotics framework.
- Familiar with working on real hardware.
Personal:
- Self-starter and result oriented.
- Open to direction, feedback, and discussions with highly motivated and competent colleagues.
- Effective communication skills and team player.
